They do!
"The Talk's" Sara Gilbert, 39, and musician Linda Perry, 48, married on Sunday.
Though Gilbert is currently on
her honeymoon, "The Talk" co-host Aisha Tyler described the ceremony on
Monday's episode of the gab fest as having taken place "at sunset and
overlooking the ocean."Continue...
Actress Juliette Lewis also spoke
about the union in a tweet. "Holiday by Madonna playin, sun is
beaming, gettin ready 4 the wedding of 1of my fave couples in the
universe @RealLindaPerry @THEsaragilbert," she wrote.
Gilbert and Perry, a songwriter and music producer, began dating in 2011. Gilbert announced their engagement
— which followed an elaborate proposal staged by Perry during a picnic
at an L.A. park — in April 2013 on an episode of "The Talk."
"It was the most amazing proposal ever," Gilbert gushed at the time.
The former "Roseanne" star shares
two children, 9-year-old son Levi and daughter Sawyer, 6, with her
former partner of a decade, "Glee" producer Allison Adler. However, she
only came out as gay in June 2010. Gilbert became emotional when she
spoke about coming to terms with her sexuality during a September
episode of "The Talk."
Gilbert thanked her supporters when she announced her engagement.
"I happened to be talking about
gay marriage and I thank you all for your support on that issue," she
shared. "That was before I had any idea about any of this. I'm super shy
and don't usually want to tell anything… but I wanted you guys to know
because I feel like you're a part of our family here."
On Monday, another co-host of "The
Talk," Julie Chen, teased that the newlywed will offer more details
when she returns to the show. Stay tuned…
